Our story so far...

We originally launched our new business as a home care provider just a few weeks before the coronavirus outbreak. We had no idea that the pandemic would present such enormous challenges for us, but we quickly began using our resources to help the community.

As we were still waiting for our CQC registration, which was required to carry out any of our usual services, we decided to look into how we could help in a time of crisis.

We looked at the support available to the local residents surrounding our office on the outskirts of Chester, and discovered that they had nothing in place at this time. So we initiated our own voluntary service by posting 250 flyers offering to provide shopping, medication collections and a companionship telephone call service, to anyone that may be at risk and vulnerable.

We also created a community link by putting a post box in the local 'Book-stop', which is a beautiful little converted bus stop that the local residents also use as a library.

We left some of our postcards as well as some hand-made cards donated from a local lady, for residents to write messages to their friends and neighbours. We then delivered them on our rounds doing voluntary services.

We contacted a local Primary School who were only too happy to get involved, with the children posting their beautiful pictures and heart-warming messages to those that may be lonely, we then passed these on to brighten the day of those that were battling with isolation and loneliness in difficult times.

It has been overwhelming to see the community come together and to witness the wonderful acts of kindness that have transpired and how kindness truly is contagious.

We received our registration and continued with the voluntary services whilst being able to provide care to the community to enable them to live safer, happier and healthier lives.

During our first two years working within the community of Cheshire West and Chester, we have been overwhelmed by the wonderful messages of thanks, and delighted to receive an award for ‘Best Emerging Holistic Home Care Provider 2021 – Cheshire’.

We are now very excited to be back home in Wirral and looking forward to providing our award-winning home care to our local community.
