Our Services

Choosing the care that's right for you

We understand that there are times when we all need a little extra help. Whether it's support with house keeping, personal care, companionship, or end of life care, Sunlight Care Services are committed to providing support that is designed to promote your independence and quality of life, bringing you and your loved ones peace of mind.

Our home care services can give you the extra support and reassurance that may be needed for you to continue living life independently. Your Community Carer can brighten your day by supporting you at home, enabling you to safely and comfortably get out and about and stay connected with your community, or to continue enjoying your hobbies and interests.

Personal Care

Having support with your daily personal care that may have become more difficult as a result of illness or getting older, can make a big difference to your quality of life. This could include tasks such as getting dressed, washing, shaving or meeting continence needs. Our Community Carers provide support in a respectful and discreet manner that upholds our client’s dignity. It is up to you what you want to include in your personal care plan.

Companionship Care

Companionship care is ideal for older people who are lonely or at risk of becoming lonely, and is a great way to stay happy and mentally healthy.  Whether you fancy a cup of tea and a chat, a stroll in the park, popping out for lunch, or a bit of gardening? Your Community Carer can make a perfect companion. We match you to the right person for you to achieve this, with a familiar face who will brighten your day.

 Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Our specially trained Community Carers can help you maintain your routine, and carry on doing the things you enjoy. Assisting with any personal or household tasks, we can offer the support you may need to live as independently as possible. Your Community Carer will take the time to get to know you as an individual so they can help support you in situations that may be a particular struggle, giving you and your loved ones peace of mind and reassurance.

Home Help and Housekeeping

It can be very frustrating when you are unable to carry out those daily tasks as you used to, but a little support with things such as hoovering, ironing or laundry, can have positive effects on your health and wellbeing. Our Community Carers will take the time to get to know your routine, helping you live well in your own home and keeping it just as you like it.

End of Life Care

End-of-life care, also known as palliative care, provides the support that is needed towards the end of someone’s life, allowing them to pass in the most peaceful and comfortable way. Our specially trained Community Carers can offer regular support with many tasks to make you or a loved one feel comfortable and safe during what can be a distressing time, promoting independence and respecting your dignity and privacy.

Medication Support

Taking medication, particularly if you are taking different sorts, can be challenging to manage. Our skilled Community Carers can take the stress out of medication management and organising your prescriptions.  By working in partnership we can help manage your medication by liaising with doctors and pharmacists, or we can assist in prompting you to take your medication and simply be there for that vital extra support.

"Initially, the team provided a companionship package for my mother (who suffers from dementia) when my father was in the hospital. They now look after both my parents who have a care package each to support their individual needs.
The team are smartly dressed, professional, excellent timekeepers and aware of health and safety wearing full PPE at all times. They are very caring with great personalities.
My parents enjoy their company and having a laugh with them. The management organised 'blister' packs for their medication and contact me with regular updates.
I would personally like to thank the team for the help and support they provide me during this difficult month.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending them"
Diane (Daughter of Client)

"I am pleased I have the opportunity to express how happy and assured with their person-centred approach when supporting my mum.
The carers have lovely personalities and maintain healthy boundaries, whilst sharing humour and compassion.
They are excellent with medication and the various needs Mum requires, up to date with admin and responsive"
 Julie (Daughter of Client)

"On behalf of my Mum, thank you so much. In my mum's words 'you are wonderfully helpful in a time of crisis.' As frontline NHS it was also a huge weight off my mind knowing that they were getting help. So once again, thank you"

Chris (Son of Client)

Let us brighten your day!
